After being cancelled due to Helene in 2024, this will be the inaugural trail run featuring the Lake Lure Classical Academy (LLCA) Fly Like a Raptor 5K and Fun Run. The course is challenging and technical and the LLCA’s very own cross country team course. It includes sections of the LLCA campus, Dittmer-Watts Nature Trails, and the Lake Lure Greenspace. NO PETS or STROLLERS are allowed due to the nature of the trails. All in all, this should be an fun new addition to the ROC Race Series!

Purpose: To run, have fun and raise funds for outdoor recreation and adventure equipment for the school, specifically for students in 4th grade and up.
Fun Run @ 9:30 a.m. begins and ends at the finish line.
T-Shirt deadline is Sep 26th by 11:59 p.m. to guarantee a T-Shirt.
Student rate for 18 and under is $15.
Now through Friday, Oct. 3rd is $25.
Oct. 4th until Race Day is $30.
