Take-Out: Site open for informal access thanks to Duke Power. No improvements but accessible with parking. Must carry boat up to road level from river. New formal access to be built in late summer 2024.
Keep your maps in a plastic bag to protect them from the rain and know how to use them. GPS units are great, but they are not substitutes for knowing how to use a map and compass.
