This is a nice, paved greenway along the Catawba River near Marion. About half-way in, you will see the trail to Round Hill. It’s a short, loop trail around
the base of the hill.

WHERE: Marion, NC

DIRECTIONS: There are 2 parking areas: Directly behind Sonic Drive Inn on Highway 70 the East side entrance: From intersection of US Hwy 221 and US 70 in Marion, head west towards Old Fort. ​In 0.6 miles turn right and proceed to the West side entrance. There is a handicap parking spot if needed.
