First Race in Books!

FOREST CITY - The first race in the 2012 Rutheford County Race Series is in the books. The Run for Your Valentine 5K Skirt Chaser was a big success with 143 runners braving a chilly day.

The overall winners were Ivan Gradzsus on the men's side and Megan Glover on the women's side. The race series standings, race results and race day photos are all posted on the series results page.

Next race is the annual Bear Foot 5K at Sunshine Elemntary School on Mar. 31.
