ROC Announces New Web Site

For Immediate Release - Rutherford County, NC The Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) is pleased to announce the debut of their newly redesigned web site. This user-friendly site provides Rutherford county residents and visiting nature enthusiasts with a guide to local outdoor activities, such as hiking, paddling, and more. The site offers a wealth of resources, including information about ROC events and membership.

The new web site, www.rutherfordoutdoor.org, is dedicated to promoting awareness and engagement in a variety of outdoor experiences offered by Rutherford and surrounding counties. The Activities section of the site gives visitors an overview of the range of activities available, and provides details on scheduled group outings. Activity schedules, special events, trail maps, and more are available for outdoor sports such as hiking, cycling, running, paddling and equestrian.

A comprehensive Resources page provides valuable tools and downloads, such as the ROC membership form and regional trail maps. Links to web sites for local state parks, hiking trails, campgrounds, rivers, and more provide visitors quick access to the information that they need. Links are sorted by topic and activity, making it easy for visitors to find resources on their particular interest.
