Leader of Pack Results

FOREST CITY - The Leader of the Pack 5K was held Saturday May 14 and the results are in as are the updated standings for the Rutherford County Race Series. There were 165 runners at the event, a significant increase over the 'Pack's first year in 2010!

Congratulations to all who won medals including overall winners Tracy Ross of Spindale and Patti Sappenfield of Rutherfordton.

After two races in the Rutherford County Race Series youth is holding court with 18-year-old Cody Danner leading the males and 9-year-old Laine Bailey leading the females.

Next race date is actually two runs, both a 5K and 10K on June 4th for the Race to the Fountain.
